According to Public Health England, Black males are one of the groups more affected by COVID-19. 649 out of every 100,000 Black males have been affected by COVID-19 compared to 224 per 100,000 White males.

The folks at The Health Foundation are investigating how COVID-19 is affecting different groups differently and have produced the lovely infographic below.

With time we will come to understand better why this is the case and what needs to be done to reduce health inequalities. Black men will continue to face significant health inequalities until enough attention and resources are put into understanding the causes.
